Sindh Local Government Elections 2023 Phase II: Results Management Issues Overshadow Peaceful and Well-Managed Polling Day
The Free and Fair Election Network observed all 22 by-elections held in the year 2016. Seven for seats in National Assembly, four for Punjab Assembly seats, one for KP Assembly seats and ten for Sindh assembly.
FAFEN successfully observed all of these by-elections by training and deployed 841 non-partisan observers (587 male and 254 female observers). The observation exercise covered the entire electoral process from the opening of the polling station to till closing and counting of the votes.
